About counselling
As human beings, we’re wired for connection. The relationships we build with others can bring us comfort, strength, and support - especially during challenging times. But when we’re feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or simply not ourselves, reaching out to friends or family can feel difficult. That’s where counselling can help.

Working with a counsellor offers a safe, confidential space to explore what’s going on for you, without fear of judgement or pressure to “have it all together.” I know from my own experience just how transformative counselling can be - but I also understand that taking that first step can feel daunting. A short initial phone call can help you get a sense of how I work and whether you feel comfortable taking the next step.
How I Work

As a Humanistic, Integrative counsellor, I believe we all have the capacity for growth and positive change. My role is to walk alongside you - helping you better understand what’s happening in your life, what might be holding you back, and how to move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Our work together is collaborative. We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with curiosity and care, and I’ll support you in making changes that feel right for you. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring sessions to your individual needs and goals. Some clients come for just a few sessions, while others value longer-term support - we’ll decide together what feels most helpful.
I work with adults and young people (aged 16+) and have experience supporting clients through a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
Professional Standards

I’m a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I take my commitment to ethical, safe, and effective practice seriously, and regularly engage in professional development to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.
